Small room, west, 1F: Slide down the plank and climb up the grate to the right side all the way to the top. Go back to the lava lake, hookshot yourself down and walk across the lava to the locked door. Light the torch (Din's Fire), talk to the Goron and open the chest to get the key. Stand on the left edge of the moving platform to do it and aim at the bottom of the torch. Now go to the other side of the lake and hookshot yourself over to the lone torch behind the flaming wall. Jump on the platform in the lava and it will act as an elevator. Need magic energy? Look up to the right, there's a torch there. Use your hookshot on the other torch to get out. Get the fairy and magic from the pots and open the treasure chest to get the boss key. Once they stop, get your hookshot out and fire at the torch behind the fire wall. Green room, north, 1F: Avoid the flying tiles. Go through the door (if the torch goes out, light it again to open the door again). Hookshot targets will appear and you can pull yourself up to the ledge. When you're close to the other torch, use Din's Fire again and you will hear a chime. Now run as fast you can to the other side of the lake. Remember, the red tunic allows you to walk on the lava for a few seconds, so just run up to the moving block, then use Din's Fire when you're close to the torch (in other words, the block is in the middle). Run over to the one with the flaming barrier first. ![]() Lava lake, 1F: Your next mission is to light both torches at the two sides of the lake. Gold Skulltula: A Skulltula is sitting on the wall behind the Goron. Exit the room through the door that unlocked. Inside, you will find the Megaton Hammer. Repeat this until the room is clear and a treasure chest appears. If he gets too far away, run the other way and intercept him again. Lock on again, then slash him with your sword as many times as possible. This will pull the little guy off his stilts and close to you. Target him while he is preparing to attack and aim the hookshot at his heart. Round room, 1F: Get ready to fight a mini-boss. Once the knight's gone, collect power-ups from pots (if you need fairies and bombs, otherwise leave them), and exit the room. Make sure you don't attack after he does the fist swing of the latter or you'll get whacked pretty quickly. The knight has two attacks, a forward strike that get his axe stuck in the ground and a one-two swing. Stay locked on and run forward and stab at him with your sword, then pull back and hit A to do a backflip out of the way of his attack. The knight can cause some serious damage, but there's a sure-fire way to defeat him. Catch it in your jar or use it to bring up your health. Do you have fairies to wake you up in case you die? If not, destroy a pot and one will come flying out. First, avoid the tiles that come flying at you, then go wake up the Iron Knuckle. Small d-shaped room, 1F: You will find yourself in a green room with an armored knight and a few pots. Small room above entrance hall, 1F: Draw your sword, kill the Keese, then rush in to defeat the Stalfos knights. You can fill up on magic by breaking the pots next to the entrance (go out and come back in to get more). Go back to the entrance hall and open the locked door. When all three are burning the grate will lift and you can go open the treasure chest in the small side room. Stand behind the tall torch (with your back to the grate), use Din's Fire to light the torch, then switch to the bow and fire arrows through the flame at the two smaller torches at the back of the room. From up here, make your way back to the entrance (the way you came), then jump over to the right side of the room. Climb up the blocks to the left and roll into the crate on the top to reveal another torch. Listen to what he has to say, then equip hookshot, bow, and Din's Fire and jump over the left platform to the next pillar, and then with the hookshot over the left side of the room. Platform Room, 1F, east of entrance hall. Light both and the door to the right will open. Quickly switch to your bow and arrow and fire arrows through the fire into the two openings at the north side of the room. ![]() Stand behind the right small torch on the wall (at the edge of the wall) and use Din's Fire to light up the torch. Exit the room after talking to the Goron, then climb up the wall next to the stairway to bypass the flaming barrier. Watch out, a Like-Like will try to eat your Goron tunic and shield. You will find yourself in a small holding area. Climb down the stairs, go into the entrance hall and open the right door.
